User roles overview

Understanding the four user roles in Gestor de Torneos

Gestor de Torneos has four distinct user roles. Each role has a dedicated dashboard and a specific set of permissions. When a user logs in, they are automatically redirected to the dashboard that matches their role.

Administrator

Full platform access. Manages all users, creates and deletes any tournament, and oversees the entire system.

Organizer

Creates and manages their own tournaments, enrolls teams, generates fixtures, and records match results.

Team

Manages the team roster, enrolls in tournaments, and withdraws from tournaments.

Player

Views the tournaments their team is enrolled in and tracks personal statistics.

Registration

Organizers and Teams can self-register at /usuario/registro/ by choosing their role during sign-up. Administrator and Player accounts can only be created by an Administrator from the user management panel.

Players are always linked to a team. A player account cannot exist without an associated team.
