Organizers are responsible for the full lifecycle of their own tournaments — from creation to generating fixtures and recording results.

Registration

Organizers can self-register at /usuario/registro/ by selecting the Organizer role during sign-up.

Dashboard

After logging in, organizers are redirected to /torneo/organizador/. The dashboard lists all tournaments the organizer has created.

Creating a tournament

Open the new tournament form

From the organizer dashboard, navigate to the create tournament page.

Fill in tournament details

Provide the tournament name, sport (Fútbol, Baloncesto, or Pádel), and tournament type (Liga, Eliminatoria, or Eliminatoria con Fase de Grupos).

Save the tournament

On success the organizer is redirected back to their dashboard where the new tournament appears in the list.

Managing a tournament

Once a tournament exists, the organizer can:
  • Edit tournament information — update the name, sport, or type from the tournament info page.
  • View enrolled teams — see which teams have joined the tournament.
  • Remove a team — withdraw any enrolled team from the tournament.
  • Delete the tournament — permanently remove the tournament and all associated data.
Deleting a tournament removes all enrolled teams, fixtures, and results associated with it.

Permissions

Organizers can only manage tournaments they created. Attempting to access or modify another organizer’s tournament will return a forbidden error.

Profile

Organizers can update their display name, email address, and password at /usuario/perfil/.
